I ran across this article from Practical Homeschooling that was both short and helpful – both good things. <g>  Kathy Von Duyke is mother to 11 by my last count. She used to be a Konos mom and wrote about unit studies.  She became a Montessori enthusiast and had a series of articles in this magazine. Unfortunately only two are available online.
