pool play

Our tiny wading pool has gotten a workout these past scorching hot days. We have talked about buying a larger pool but with an ever new supply of toddlers around here it makes me really nervous. The diminutive size of our pool hasn’t slowed the rest of them down any. In fact, they have such rip roaring fun that Tess decided she would do better with a little bitty bucket, cup and bowl off to the side.

  1. I become very philosophical about the cheap plastic pool. So many people think they are too good for the cheap plastic pool. We love ours. It was $11. I can fit in there with the children and we watch the clouds roll by. It’s tremendously refreshing and low maintenance. Love the cheap plastic pool. πŸ™‚

  2. We have a couple of the ‘cheap’ plastic pools, I even fixed my nicer Step One after the hail last year with silicone, only one problem, dogs! They love the pools too. It is amazing how much fun the kids can have with sand, pool, and a running hose. I love summer. Big pools sound like just one more thing to keep clean!

  3. Have to say–if Alannah ever wants to know what she looked like as a toddler, tell her to look at these photos of Tess! It’s uncanny!!
