I just finished my first project this week, too! Do you have a pattern for the skirt? I made a skirt, too, but it doesn’t fall quite the same. I was just wondering what is different about the pattern. It’s beautiful by the way. I’m so excited about learning how to sew, because I can pick out the material I like instead of trying to find clothes I like in the store! Can you tell I’m excited?
This is lovely. Last week I went out and bought material for 2 A-line skirts, one for my daughter and one for me. This past summer I made 2 skirts and did not use a pattern I simply cut my material in the same shape and size from one of my other store bought A-lines and it did turn out nicely. I cannot for the life of me figure out patterns. Did you use a pattern? Any suggestions for me? I did try a simple pattern and I am just not good at it. Thanks, Susan
The sewing “bug” is going ’round here too. We a trip to the fabric store just this week for patterns (skirts, dresses) and fabric for the girls and for myself.
What pattern (if any) did you use for this A Line skirt ? It is adorable !
Thanks.

Very cute! You can’t go wrong with a simple A-line — and I love the combination of brown and turquoise
