The gang's all here. : )  Took the opportunity to get them all in front of the camera while we could.  And let me just say – working with a dark cloudy day, 12 people, trying to get us all looking the same direction and no one complaining about someone touching them or asking when we are getting the cake that was promised…  Easier said than done lol!  It was worth it though. As they grow and move into the big world, there are fewer and fewer chances to do this.

A very good start for the new year.   

"To try as much as possible not to sacrifice my daily meditation, in spite of active occupations and duties.  In that medititation and close contact with God my soul finds greater strength to perform the wearisome, monotonous tasks of every day, to act.  Those things are better carried out that have first been prepared in deliberation with the master and friend, and the soul remains at peace in the midst of every agitation and grief.  

To exercise one's will to work with one's hands and brain, to acquire knowledge.  To fortify one's thoughts, one's will, and even one's feelings, and yet preserve all their gentleness and depth.  To Jesus my Savior and master I offer all these resolutions…. may He help me…."
