Found this pair of Myott Country Life Staffordshire dessert plates recently for a mere four dollars. They look very similar to my grandmother's Friendly Village pattern from Johnson Brothers although those are more wintry scenes.

the brown english countryside with bits of color is really pretty!
I thought those were Friendly Village at first glance. So pretty! And great price — yay, you! :o) I inherited my grandmother’s huge set of Friendly Village, and it is one of my most prized possessions. :o)
