A Rainy Day in Prague

A little rain doesn't stop us when we are adventuring.  Ok, maybe it slows us down a little, but we usually splash on through.  That's a darned good thing considering our next location.  The second day in Prague was misty moisty which later turned to buckets as we approached the bridge going home. We took cover there laughing ourselves silly.

My beautiful Moira. She took my breath away when I turned and caught a glimpse of her gazing out across the bridge as we waited.

This image IS Prague for me.  It is what I picture when I think of our time in Europe together.  Oh those little bitty hands.  She will never remember this place.  I hope she never forgets arms bearing her up and carrying her out of the rain.

  1. Beautiful pictures! I vividly remember studying in Vienna and taking a side trip to Prague with a rather crazy professor. Among other things she had us read Kafka’s The Castle, then go on a night walk when the streets were empty to mimic Kafka’s late-night writing inspiration walks around the city. We ended up at his house on the hill near the real Prague castle. Some of her other ideas were time-wasters, but that one was quite cool!

  2. Handsome hubby, beautiful daughter… blessed woman! I want so badly to travel abroad… my dream is Italy. When I visit your blog and see the beautiful buildings lining the streets, it just takes my breath! +JMJ+

  3. Moira is absolutely stunning, the buildings are beautiful, and your laughing husband holding the drenched child is wonderful (what is it about handsome men holding babies?!). That last shot, though, brings tears to my eyes everytime I look at it. Talent + skill + love is a powerful combination.
