Moments like this are worth remembering. We purged our game closet last summer if you recall the Clean Sweep posts. It was painful to toss so many games and puzzles missing bits and pieces over the years. Santa brought some new ones however and few things are more dear to my heart than seeing my clan hunched over a game board with wild cheers rising up on all sides. I hope your house is also ringing in the new year with evenings like this!

Oh yes! We love to play family games together and do puzzles. Our newest board game this year was Sequence. The biggest puzzle this year was of Ireland – 1,000 pieces. Our son and his wife bought the Wii system. We are now playing golf and bowling nightly and each day testing our age. I got so into the “swing” of things Christmas Eve that I pulled a muscle bowling.

Marianna, dh and I have been playing tons of new games in the cockpit, though we did find out that Skip-Bo is not the best choice if the breeze is blowing! I am so surprised we didn’t lose any cards in the drink.
