My mother always said, “the devil is getting married” when the sun shines during a rain. Now my kids say it. Frankly, it’s awful, isn’t it?
Happens to me all the time 🙂
As I recall, when we lived in New Orleans (I was quite young), it rained often, and it was often sunny at the same time!
I always look for the rainbow when this happens and most of the time find it.<3 that CCR song…
